Description:

IBM Consulting is hiring a User Experience Designer to join its Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) in Bangalore. This is a unique opportunity to work with clients across industries and geographies, helping them adopt design thinking and innovative digital solutions.

As a mid-senior level UX designer, you will be an independent contributor, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and deliver world-class digital experiences. You will not only be responsible for creating designs but also for influencing design outcomes, presenting solutions to stakeholders, and applying IBM’s design thinking framework to solve complex problems.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Work with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Mural.
• Apply design thinking methods to create user-centered solutions aligned with project goals.
• Present design concepts and experience visions effectively to clients and stakeholders.
• Lead smaller project modules, facilitate design discussions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain a strong design portfolio, showcasing responsive design, mobile apps, and (preferred) AI-integrated experiences.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum environments to align design outcomes with project timelines.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Design (mandatory) or higher (Master's Degree preferred).
• Formal design education and a portfolio of work (mandatory).
• 3–5 years of UX design experience, preferably in an agency or consultancy setting.
• Strong work ethic, excellent communication, and client presentation skills.
• Proven experience across responsive web and mobile design.
• (Preferred) Exposure to designing for AI-driven experiences.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
